WCJC is proud of the strength we have witnessed from all of the mothers we have taken care of this year!
You all took on so much. From working from home while caring for your babies, to being remote school teachers to your kids (often while still working your own full-time jobs), looking after your elderly relatives, and carefully navigating ways to keep your families safe during this crazy year- we are so impressed with your grace and courage.
And wow, this has been quite a year to become a new mom! Pregnancy and childbirth is usually a time to celebrate life with your friends and family, and you have taken on this year of firsts with MUCH less support. Some of you delivered without the support people you had intended to have. You have managed your postpartum recoveries with less help, less casserole drop-offs, less grandmas and aunties around to do laundry and make diaper runs. Lots of you ladies were really a one-woman show!
Your strength is admirable! Thank you all for trusting us to care for your most precious cargo. We hope you spend Mother’s Day relaxing, enjoying time with your family, and being pampered…Your deserve it!
