Introduction to Annual GYN Visits

Annual wellness visits are important for your overall health and well-being.

Also known as a “well woman’s exam,” annual visits are a great opportunity for a woman to check in with her body, document changes, discuss any concerns, and ensure your overall health long-term. At WCJC, many of our patients have been coming to us since they were teens; we’ve even delivered some of them ourselves!

How it Works

A regular visit with your OB/GYN at WCJC will help women of all ages to be healthy and stay healthy!

We dedicate our practice to women’s health, providing both obstetric care and gynecological services. Our mission is to maintain your health by offering preventive health screenings which include both physical examinations and pap smears following the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) guidelines as our standard of care.

Benefits

Being proactive about your health as a woman can make a huge difference in your overall quality of life.

Scheduling an annual exam is about more than checking for issues. It’s about meeting with your provider and discussing your overall health, self-care, and learning how to help your body thrive. During your annual, our gynecologists can discuss a wide variety of treatments and topics. We can help facilitate additional testing, if necessary, to help identify the root of any concerns and help narrow a treatment plan that will work best for you.
