Please bring your photo ID and your insurance card to your first visit. We ask that if you were referred from another physician, or had any outside testing or imaging such as ultrasounds or CT scans, that you bring these records as well.

You should expect to be with us for about an hour. If you are new to our office, please arrive early to fill out paperwork.

We strive to run on time and to offer you options when we are running behind. Because we are a busy obstetric practice, our providers sometimes have to leave the office to deliver babies. While this is a delightful part of our job, we have not yet mastered being in two places at once! If you are waiting more than 15 minutes to be called back, please ask the front desk staff for an update. When a provider is running behind, we will do our best to offer you options to continue to wait for your scheduled provider, see another provider, or, rarely, to reschedule your visit.

We allow one guest to attend all office visits. We do not consider infants in carriers as guests, and may attend visits in addition to another guest.

In accordance with the CDC guidelines which is based on community transmission levels, masking in the office is optional at this time.

We ask that you cancel your appointment a minimum of 24 hours in advance. We do not charge for cancelled visits but reserve the right to discharge a patient from our practice for recurrent no-shows.

Yes! If you would like to be seen sooner than the first available appointment time with your provider, please ask to be added to our cancellation list. If a patient cancels with your provider, our office will call you to offer you these same day or next day openings.

To reach us outside of office hours, call 913-491-4020 to be connected to our answering service. We always have an on-call physician to take your urgent calls. If you feel you are having an emergency, please go to the nearest emergency department, do not wait for a return call from us.
