My Experience

As a certified nurse midwife, Sarah loves working for WCJC because of the focus on providing the best quality care to women in Johnson County.

The powerful dynamic of this women-owned institution means patients can rest assured the providers understand first-hand the types of issues they are facing.

Her greatest joy in work is helping women feel more comfortable as they pursue their healthcare needs. She believes that warm, welcoming, and caring environments set the best stage to address any personal health issues. That’s why she strives to provide a nonjudgemental, holistic approach to healthcare.

Caring for women across the life-span is a highlight of my life.

Whether walking families through a pregnancy or navigating a routine annual visit, it is an honor to provide a caring presence in such a personal space.

I love to empower women through education regarding the knowledge of their bodies and choices in healthcare. To do this work in a relaxed, safe environment is my utmost goal.

Outside of Work

A mother caring for mothers.

Sarah has four amazing children with her husband, one daughter and three sons. When not working, Sarah loves spending time with her family. She gets passionate about organization, home remodeling projects, and creating peaceful spaces for her family to enjoy. She also loves baking and listening to music, podcasts, and audiobooks. She’s proud to support Impact Foundation, a faith-based company in Kansas City that helps financial donors maximize their impact in the community.
