My Experience

Being a part of the Women’s Clinic of Johnson County team is a dream come true for Dr. Mathiesen.

As a doctor, she is wholly invested in the physical, mental, and emotional health of her patients. She works hard to help foster the environment of support and caring WCJC is known for. Dr. Mathiesen finds delivering babies—and watching them grow—is the most rewarding part of being an OB/GYN.

I am committed to providing exceptional care using evidence-based medicine for all of my patients.

I am a physician who gets something back from the physician-patient relationship, whether it is caring for a woman throughout her pregnancy, seeing her for preventive health visits, or helping her with a specific issue.

I take pride in developing a compassionate relationship and making memories for us both.

Outside of Work

Wholly invested in patient care.

A dedicated mother and dedicated physician.Dr. Mathiesen is happy to spend her time outside of work with her sons. She loves trying out new recipes and going for runs. Being well-rested for patients is important to her, so she’s sure to make good sleep a priority!
